HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The No. 14 seed Vincennes University Trailblazers hit the floor at the Hutchinson Sports Arena Monday night in the second round of the 2025 NJCAA Division I National Tournament. The Blazers faced another tough opponent in No. 3 seed Indian Hills Community College from Ottumwa, Iowa. Vincennes was once again able to ride an early scoring run and fend off a late Warrior comeback to pick up the 85-71 victory over Indian Hills and advance to the National Quarterfinals.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The No. 14-seed Vincennes University Trailblazers opened their run at the 2025 NJCAA Division I National tournament Saturday night at the Hutchinson Sports Arena in Hutchinson, Kan. The Trailblazers squared off against No. 19 seed Three Rivers College from Poplar Bluff, Mo. and came away with the opening round win over the Raiders 69-51. Vincennes got the offense going early in their first round matchup, using an early 8-0 run to help build a quick 15-9 advantage over the Raiders.

INA, Ill. – The No. 6-ranked Vincennes University Trailblazers opened postseason play Monday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the 2025 NJCAA Division I Region 24 Men’s Basketball tournament. The Trailblazers earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament and faced off against the No. 8 seeded Blue Devils of Kaskaskia College from Centralia, Ill. Vincennes overcame a slow start and looked to be rolling at halftime but a big second half surge by the Blue Devils allowed Kaskaskia to battle all the way back and take a 61-56 victory over the Trailblazers.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The No. 6-ranked Vincennes University Men’s Basketball team will open their 2025 postseason run Monday, March 10 in the Quarterfinals of the 2025 NJCAA Division I Region 24 tournament hosted at Rend Lake College in Ina, Ill. The Trailblazers finished the 2024-25 regular season with a 26-3 record overall with a 16-0 record against Region 24 opponents, earning the No. 1 seed in the Region 24 tournament for the second year in a row. The 2025 Region 24 tournament will officially begin Saturday, March 8 with the play-in game between No. 9 seed Olney Central College and No. 8 Kaskaskia College. This game will be played at Centralia, Ill.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Men’s Basketball team climbed one spot this week in the final NJCAA Division I National rankings to No. 6, while still holding their position at No. 3 in the JUCO Advocate Media Poll and Nielsen File Top 25 Rankings. The Blazers got their first opportunity to defend this new ranking Tuesday night in the regular season finale against Kaskaskia College from Centralia, Ill. The Trailblazers rode the home crowd early gained momentum and built an early lead as the Blazers rolled in the second half to a big 101-55 victory over the Blue Devils on Sophomore Night.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The No. 7 ranked Vincennes University Trailblazers returned home for the first time since February 8th as the Blazers faced off against a tough Region 24 rival in Wabash Valley College from Mt. Carmel, Ill. The Trailblazers were able to build a big early lead thanks to some outstanding first half defense and ride the momentum through a tough, physical second half as the Blazers picked their 19th straight victory by the final score of 70-52. Vincennes opened the game strong in front of a big home crowd on Good Samaritan Night and Blaze to a Community Cure Cancer Awareness Night inside the P.E. Complex.
